The Tooky Toy Lacing Caterpillar is an excellent toy to help develop fine motor skills.
Threading and lacing requires co-ordination of those little fingers and also patience. This wooden educational toy provides many play possibilities such as lacing the numbers in the correct order, only lacing even numbers and also colour and shape recognition.
The Lacing Caterpillar set includes two long green strings with a blunt wooden needle attached to one end. The wooden blocks have a hole in the centre for threading. The blocks are different colours and have numbers from 0 – 9 printed on one side and dots corresponding to the number on the other side. There are also 7 additional blocks in the shape of a heart, triangle, star, cube, hexagon, pentagon and a circle.
This lacing toy comes in a reusable tube with a string handle so it is easy to pack up and also easy to take with you.
